26th February - Ferry
from Stockholm to Tallin
Emil:
Hola amigos y amigas! We’re finally on our way to our first
Scandinavian tour för helvete! In regular order we get on
the ferry and buy booze as soon as the tax-free shop opens!
Tomas:
After that we're heading back to the tour cabin to rehearse
for the first time before this tour. A nice unplugged
rehearsal takes place in the cabin. Legion is whispering the
vocals; Emil is playing the snare drum like an insane
animal. Me, Joinus and Carl are more into the headbanging
than playing. After three songs we open up the vodka and rum
bottles and that's the end of this session.
Carl:
Like Nifelheim once said: "De ä löjligt å repa!". Ferries
going over the Baltic Sea are infamous for carrying lots of
Swedish alcoholics going bananas at sea. So this suits us
like a glove. So we stroll around the boat getting
intoxicated, eventually finding the guys from Unleashed.
What's more to say? We get wasted and do bad things.
Legion:
The curse of pure Rum. So why did I try to empty a bottle
like that then? Well I guess I’m just that dumb. I suffer
severe memory blanks but the stuff remaining is good
memories. Our ferry gets delayed due to some lost soul who I
reckon chose to end his life by choice by throwing himself
in the ice cold water. The boat circles around looking for
him but eventually gives up hope and heads for Tallin again.
Joinus: Blubb blubb...
27th of February - Tallin - Estonia

Emil:
Friday night in Tallin so the hopes are high but since it’s
our first time here we don’t know what to expect. We meet up
with the guys of Belphegor and to my surprise their new
session drummer Robert is from Slovenia so we get on
starting talking Bosnian, which is good ´cause I need to
practice.
Legion:
And maybe you should start practicing the drums too you
animal-from-the-muppet-show you hahahaha!!!
Carl:
The venue is located at a worn down industrial area and the
D-beat echoes in the distance. After sound check and a few
cold ones I'm really getting into the mood for our opening
gig of the tour. Rehearsing in the cabin on the ferry paid
off, or maybe we just have some skills 'cause the gig goes
on really smoothly. It feels great to be on stage again! A
tremendously drunk guy obviously feels the same and
repeatedly walks up on stage during our set. Stage tech
Vacek violently pushes him off the stage, but the drunken
guy doesn't realize what is going on until the floor hits
him in the face. Brutally. That guy seriously must have
broken something.
Tomas:
The absolute hero of the day is the guy that's throwing up
pasta when we are doing the load out. First he's slam
dancing like a maniac to some rock music that's coming from
the PA system. The next minute he's sitting down and
throwing up his dinner, maybe he should be in our band?
Joinus is still nowhere to be found.
Joinus:
Sleeping with the fishes.
